Dr. Vivian Abenaa Asamoah, MD, IFMCP, is a board-certified gastroenterologist, physician executive, and leader in integrative digestive care. With board certification in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition and formal training in Functional and Integrative Medicine, she applies a systems-based approach to complex GI and metabolic conditions. She is Founder and CEO of Houston Gastro Institute and Medical Director of Zazen Surgery Center in Houston, Texas. Licensed in 14 states, she leads a multistate virtual integrative GI practice and created the 12-Week Leaky Gut Relief Program. Dr. Asamoah is an IFM educator, author of Natural Gut Relief, and a nationally recognized speaker on integrative GI care and physician leadership.
